Artist Spotlight: Oprah Winfrey

It’s been a few weeks since I did an “Artist Spotlight” post so I wanted to come back with a BANG!  What better person to do that with than the incomparable, Oprah Winfrey?!  Known for her philanthropy, award-winning talk show, and her acting, Oprah has become a household name for most.  In 2009, she starred in Disney’s The Princess & the Frog as Tiana’s mother, Eudora.  This is her only work with Disney, yet she is most famous for her role in the movie, The Color Purple.
